Moldavite
Moldavite
Moldavite is a tektite that is found only in the Czech Republic. These were formed around 14.8 million years ago when a meteorite crashed into an area of what is now the Czech Republic. The historic use of Moldavite is well documented and dates back to the Neolithic peoples who fashioned amulets from it. It is rumored to have adorned the Holy Grail and has been likened to the fabled Stone of Shambhala. It is regarded as a spiritual talisman and has been traditionally given as an engagement gift said to bring harmony to marriage.
Moldavite is a storm element stone and anyone working with it can attest to its intense energy. It brings about huge transformations by breaking into pieces the limits we and others have placed around us. It is a stone of tremendous power and intensity and can take some getting used to. It is best used by those who are ready for major personal shifts, a total house cleaning, so to speak.
It is also useful in dream work, though until you are accustomed to its energy it is best to use it in moderation.
These are .5" stones, perfect for a medicine bag, under your bed pillow or to carry in a pocket or purse.
