Auralite 23 is really chevron amethyst with the possibility of 23 other minerals included. There is quite a bit of controversy about this stone as it is purported to be impossible for all of the possible inclusions to exist at the same time in one stone. This list includes: Amethyst, hematite, Silver (Ag), Gold (Au), Aluminum (Al), Barium (Ba), Beryllium (Be), Bismuth (Bi), Calcium (Ca), Cadmium (Cd), Cobalt (Co), Chromium (Cr), Copper (Cu), Iron (Fe), Mercury (Hg), Potassium (K), Lanthanum, (La), Magnesium (Mg), Manganese (Mn), Molybdenum (Mo), Sodium (Na), Nitrogen (N), Phosphorous (P), Lead (Pb), Palladium (Pd), Sulfur (S), Antimony (Sb), Scandium (Sc), Strontium (Sr), Thorium (Th), Titanium (Ti), Thalium (Tl), Uranium (U), Vanadium (V), Tungsten (W), Zinc (Zn) and Zirconium (Zr).

With that disclaimer, these are quite beautiful stones. When held up to the light you can see the classic chevron patterning as well as other inclusions including the classic red cap of the Auralite 23 crystal. The Chevron Amethyst is known as a calming stone as well as a stone to help overcome resistance to change and facilitate deep meditation. As with all quartz crystals it in an amplifier as well. It carries all of the characteristics of clear quartz and amethyst.
